KOH PHANGAN HOTEL GUIDE | Thongsala
Thongsala is Koh Phangan's main town and the main hub for travel to and from the island. It is also host to a number of bars, restaurants, travel agencies and is a great place to go shopping.

There are several banks in Thongsala, where you can exchange money and travelers cheques as well as send or receive money with Western Union.

The hospital is but 4 kms away and there is a number of pharmacies and private clinics if you need any maladies treated.

Restaurants
You will find a great selection of seafood restaurants, typical Thai foodstalls (cheap but tasty street food), steak houses and and even an Indian restaurant in Thongsala.

Entertainment
Stroll into any small tour shop or travel agency and you will see a wealth of tours and activities on offer. We can especially recommend the Quad Bike Track and The Thai Boxing Stadium.

Shopping
The Centre Point shopping centre offers all the good you could possible want including clothes. There is also a number of Thai handicraft shops, leather works and fresh produce stalls. Most are open till late.

Bars
Most bars offer draft beer, large screen tv showing the latest sports and events.
